Thanks Scott. I almost passed over this image. In color it was just plain blah. Then I noticed the grain in the wagon and thought of black and white. I noticed that you had several images represented in the contest results. Good going.

I am a self-taught photographer. I retired from a major healthcare system and am now a member of the Artist Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC. In the early 1990's photography became my hobby. Saturdays were often spent exploring trails, country back roads and forestry service roads. Slow travel and exploration in upstate South Carolina, western North Carolina and North Georgia was relaxing and addictive. Long weekends allowed travel to Virginia and Tennessee. The excitement of seasonal changes, the beauty, and the challenge to improve with every outing led to even vacation time being spent like the early Saturdays. The hobby became a more serious pursuit. More recently I have taken images in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico,...
