About David Waldrop
I am a self-taught photographer. I retired from a major healthcare system and am now a member of the Artist Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC. In the early 1990's photography became my hobby. Saturdays were often spent exploring trails, country back roads and forestry service roads. Slow travel and exploration in upstate South Carolina, western North Carolina and North Georgia was relaxing and addictive. Long weekends allowed travel to Virginia and Tennessee. The excitement of seasonal changes, the beauty, and the challenge to improve with every outing led to even vacation time being spent like the early Saturdays. The hobby became a more serious pursuit. Thanks. Yes it was about 20 seconds. The water was flowing very fast and it was 7:30 PM, so the light level was very low.
